To best serve our customers, the staff of VacationRoost has to know the destinations we’re selling, and what better way is there to learn about our products than to experience them first-hand? From visits to the slopes of Colorado to stays in luxury properties in Park City, Sun Valley and Tahoe, the VacationRoost team has been invited to see and experience the best our vacation locales have to offer. In addition, our Destination Experts indulge in activities like riding the slopes, mountain bike tours, hot air balloon rides and sampling the local cuisine.
The folks at VacationRoost are never ones to let business get in the way of a good snow day. With the ski slopes right up the road from the VacationRoost offices, it wouldn’t be right to keep the staff cooped up when that tantalizing powder begins to fall. Employees are encouraged to take ski days when the trails are looking especially tempting, and you often see people roaming the halls in ski clothes with sunburned “goggle tans,” and gear stashed in offices.
When summertime rolls around, the skiers and boarders at VacationRoost don’t just go into hibernation. You can find The Roostars out at the ballpark each summer stealing bases and hitting home runs. Soft ball games at VacationRoost bring out friends and family for barbeque cook-offs and some friendly competition. Our recent Wing Cook-off featured seven different chefs and about 450 wings were consumed.
Each year the VacationRoost crew takes to the links for a companywide golf tournament. Out on the fairways and greens, two-person teams compete for the grand prize and bragging rights. We’ve had some great matches and a lot of fun at the courses around the Salt Lake Valley.
Even though our Destination Experts are spread across the country helping people create vacation packages, we still make the time to celebrate. Each month at VacationRoost we get together to sing and enjoy some cake and ice cream and send some birthday wishes to our staff in the office and throughout our vacation destinations.
