  1. Check out the rodeo series starting in June and running through August.
  2. Every Memorial Day weekend, Beaver Creek hosts a Blues, Brews, and Barbecue festival with grillers from all over the country.

  3. The Charter at Beaver Creek. Ski in/ski-out via the skyway or just take the private shuttle.

  1. Beaver Creek has some great progression parks for learning to jump, rail slide, and play in the half pipe. Consider taking a lesson to really learn how to “play in the parks.”
  2. The town of Avon is located right outside the entrance gates to Beaver Creek. You can find affordable properties here and be less than a 10-minute shuttle ride to the slopes.
  3. Ski the trees. Beaver Creek gets a ton of snow and there is always great snow to be found between the Aspen trees.

When dining in Beaver Creek, you must eat at:

  1. For breakfast: Bivans at the Park Hyatt. Make sure to stop and fuel up before hitting the slopes right outside the door.
  2. For lunch/apres-ski: The Dusty Boot. For $6, you get great food and a beer.
  3. For dinner: Rocks Modern Grill at the Beaver Creek Lodge. Fun atmosphere and great food.

  1. Beaver Creek is the name of the mountain and Avon is the name of the town.
  2. Beaver Creek has three villages: Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead. All have their own lifts.
  3. All ski schools are located in the main Beaver Creek village.

  1. This is a good ski-in/ski-out option with lots of privacy.
  2. It has units with one to five bedrooms that will accomodate all group sizes.
  3. You’ll feel like a king in the huge five-bedroom penthouse on the fifth floor, where the main elevator drops you right in your room.

“Local secrets” and activities you must experience when staying in Beaver Creek:

  1. Golfing! They have some of the greenest fairways, especially for being built on a pile of rocks (The Rocky Mountains).
  2. Hike the Mountain. Beaver Creek is as beautiful in the summer as when it’s covered with snow in the winter.
  3. If it’s a rainy day, take the kids to the Children’s Museum. It has presentations, workshops and interactive hands-on activities.

When dining in Beaver Creek, you must eat at:

  1. For Breakfast: Avon Bakery and Deli and order a fresh-baked Scone, because there is nothing better than a hot scone with honey butter to start a morning.
  2. For Lunch: Blue Moose Pizza and order the Cowboy Pizza because it’s a deliciously perfect barbecue pizza with Gouda cheese.
  3. For Dinner: The Beaver Creek Chop House and order a Dry-Aged New York Steak, because it’s mouthwatering goodness.
