Things to do in Beaver Creek
Skiing is what makes Beaver Creek come alive. If you visit in December, you can see the annual Birds of Prey World Cup race on one of the top five ski courses in the world. Village-to-village ski packages give you access to both Arrowhead Village and Bachelor Gulch Village where you can ski, snowboard and hike to your heart’s content. If you’re visiting in the summer you can golf, hike, bike or just relax at one of the area’s world-class restaurants or spas.

Staying safe and healthy in Beaver Creek
If you live in a lower altitude region, take it easy during your first few days in Beaver Creek. High altitudes can cause illness symptoms so make sure to get plenty of rest and drink lots of water during your stay. Some physicians recommend altitude sickness medications to help alleviate symptoms. Many visitors find it helpful to spend the night in Denver before you head to Beaver Creek to slowly get yourself accustomed to higher altitudes.
