  1. It’s the perfect ski-in/ski-out property that’s also located on Historic Main Street, just steps away from premier dining and shopping.
  2. The Caledonian is home to “Butcher’s Chop House,” a great restaurant that takes pride in serving some of the best steaks in Utah.
  3. The town lift practically picks you up as you step out the front door of the Caledonian.

  1. Take the time to visit Utah Olympic Park that hosted more than 300,000 visitors and 14 Olympic medal events in 2002. Here you can ride bobsleds and see other Olympic hopefuls.
  2. See Utah like never before in a helicopter high above Utah’s beautiful landscape.
  3. If time permits, everyone visiting the area must experience the history and beauty of the Heber Valley Railroad. You can ride the coal-powered train through the Heber Valley and Provo Canyon.

  1. For breakfast: Java Cow Cafe. Order any of the baked pastries fresh out of the oven.
  2. For lunch: Baja Cantina. Order The Hoist prepared by the talented Chef Paul Dinga.
  3. For dinner: The Cellar. It is fine dining at its best and served one of the best prepared lobster’s that I have ever had.

  1. Park City bursts at the seems during the first weeks of January for the Sundance Film Festival. Book early if you’re coming during this busy part of the season. June would be the latest that I would book for Sundance.
  2. Park City is only 36 miles from the Salt Lake International Airport, making it one of the most easily accessible areas for skiing and other activities.
  3. Keep in mind the town of Midway as a summer vacation destination. It’s only a few minutes away from Park City and has a ton of activities like golf, swimming in mineral springs, and getting certified for scuba diving.

  1. There is a lift specifically built for the building. Hop on in the morning or take advantage of the complementary on-call shuttle.
  2. The rates for this luxury property are introductory for the ’08-’09 ski season as the complex is still under construction. Right now you can take advantage of a luxury property for a fraction of the cost.
  3. If you are not into skiing, this complex boasts a pool, hot tub and work out facility. Plus, it’s just minutes from Historic Main Street where you can shop until you drop.

  1. Get certified for scuba diving in the hot mineral spring in Midway just minutes out of Park City.
  2. Enjoy the meditation room at The Zermont Spa.
  3. Golfing at one of many of the best courses in the country.

  1. For breakfast: The West Side Cafe and Market. Order the hot buttered rum because it is made right there on the premises. It’s a great warm up before you head up to the slopes.
  2. For lunch: Nick’s has some of the best falafel at the best price.
  3. For dinner: The Cellar’s and order the crab legs because the portion is huge, and they taste like heaven. The benets following the meal aren’t bad either.

  2. You do not need a car in Park City
  3. Great family destination

  1. It is a great location for good access to mountain activities.
  2. It’s convenient to restaurants and shops.

  1. See the Olympic Park to get a real understanding of the Olympic Games.
  2. Take the town lift up to mid mountain at The Park City Mountain Resort for hiking and biking
  3. The Heber Valley Railroad is a great family thing to do.

  1. For breakfast: Try the Java Cow and get one of their pastries that are baked fresh every day.
  2. For lunch: Windy Ridge Caf�. The Grilled Chicken Panini is very tasty.
  3. For dinner: The Bistro’s outdoor seating has a great ambiance. I suggest the ordering the Grilled Salmon.

  1. Go to the Olympic Park for bobsledding and ski jumping lessons.
  2. Go snowmobiling in the Uinta Mountains.
  3. If you want a break from skiing, go to the tubing hill at Gargoza Park.

When dining in Park City, you must eat at:

  1. For breakfast: Squatters and order Biscuits and gravy because they will stick to your ribs.
  2. For lunch: El Chubasco and order the burritos because they are huge and really tasty.
  3. For dinner: Butchers. You can’t go wrong with their steaks.
