About Kicking Horse, BC

The Canadian mountain town of Golden is home to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Kicking Horse is one of the most exceptional ski resorts in Canada, and that is saying a lot considering its neighbors are Banff and Whistler. The resort is hidden away in Canada’s Purcell Mountains about a 2.5 hour drive from Calgary. It should be noted that many of the mountain peaks in the range are close to or over 10,000 feet in elevation. The resort itself has a healthy balance of terrain difficulty for all levels of skiers.
