One of the world’s first and most successful shared ownership condominium lodges, Iron Blossom Lodge offers the visiting vacationer everything necessary for the perfect holiday in any season. The Iron Blosam Lodge is named after a historic Little Cottonwood Mining Claim "Iron Blosam," hence the phonetic spelling. Iron Blosam decor in its hallways and elevator lobbies display historic mining artifacts and vintage skis.
Iron Blosam was fully opened in the fall of 1975, although there was some occupancy during final phases of construction in 1974. Iron Blosam offers 159 rooms, pool and spa facilities on site. Only a few minute walk from the world famous Snowbird ski slopes. Iron Blosam is operated on a timeshare basis; therefore, stays over Saturday night may require a room change.
Studios offer a sofa bed. Ski slope facing units with a full kitchen and a gas fireplace.
The Wildflower Restaurant (offering Northern Italian cuisine) and lounge is located at Iron Blosam. Coffee and newspapers are available in the lobby and a section of the building is enabled to offer complimentary WIFI service. There is a Health spa area (over 16 years only) offering steam room, massage and sauna.
Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort charges a nightly resort fee that is not included in the base rate. This nightly resort fee varies between $6 (summer) and $14 (winter) and includes the above amenities and services.
